Dateline: Lovilia Bonnie Lou Jones, of Bussey, age 77, died Thursday evening, December 18, 2014 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic. She was born in Albia on June 20, 1937 to Earl and Helen (Kellogg) Yates. She Graduated from Albia High School, class of 1955. She worked at chamberlains Manufacturing in Albia and later worked as a home health aid. She enjoyed Bingo, Shopping, cats, scratch off lottery tickets, and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was alway upbeat and had a great sense of humor. She leaves behind her life companion Patrick Ruddy of Bussey; children, Carol (Craig) Reed of Bussey, Pam (Jeff) Comstock of Lovilia, Lylaine (Kelly) Ford of Knoxville, Vickie (Stacy) Detar of Albia, 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and siblings, Evelyn Rockwell of Des Moines, Richard Yates of Chicago, and Beverly Bosteder of Des Moines. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Art Yates, Chuck Yates, Don Yates, Ray Yates, Betty Nabity, Ethel Bregar, Buck Yates, and Bertha McCombs.
