WM. Clifford (Doc) Sampson

Dr. Wm. Clifford "Doc" Sampson age 88, of Carlisle, Ohio, passed away December 20, 2014 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born June 2, 1926, son of Tom and Rose Ellen Sampson in Detroit, Michigan, graduated from Brookville High School, Wittenberg College of Springfield, served a year in the US Army and graduated from Still College of Osteopathy in Des Moines, IA. He began his family practice in Middletown and specialized in manipulation, retiring after 45 years in 2001. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and his son, Bruce. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Lucille (Petersen), daughter Dianne (Kenny) Spears, two grandsons Ryan Spears and Mathew (Rachael) Spears, and a new great grandson Isaac Spears. Cliff attended Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Germantown. A memorial visitation at 3:00 PM and service at 4:00 PM will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church January 10, 2015.
