Darlene E. Lillie

Darlene E. Lillie, 76, passed away on January 4, 2015, at River Hills Village in Keokuk. Darlene was born on December 28, 1938, to Jacob and Gertrude Walther Wirbel in Midland, Michigan. On November 4, 1981, she was united in marriage to Obert Lillie in Hamilton, Illinois. He survives. Darlene was employed as a Watkins Dealer and a Home Childcare Provider with the State of Iowa. She was a member of the Catholic Faith and the JC's of Keokuk. Darlene is survived by her husband Obert, her son Jess Johnson of Keokuk, her daughters Alice Tripp of Keokuk and Beverly Burdette of Keokuk, and many grandchildren and great-granchildren. Darlene is preceded in death by her parents and her daughters: Lucille, Rose and Tressie. A Christian Burial Service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at DeJong-Greaves Celebration of Life Centers located at 917 Blondeau Street, with Deacon Bill Cosgrove officiating.
