Donald R. McDonald

Mr. Donald R. McDonald, age 92 of Seymour, IN passed away January 7, 2015 at Schneck Medical Center. Donald was born on January 30, 1922 in Crawfordsville, IN to Charles and Helen Baynes McDonald. He married Lavona Snodgrass, at Central Christian Church parsonage, in Seymour, on March 22, 1941, she precedes him in death. Donald was a member of the US Army, and a proud World War II veteran. Upon returning home he held a career as a local farmer. He is survived by 2 sons; B. Wayne (Judith D.) McDonald, Dennis L. (Helen) McDonald, a daughter Emily (John) Canada, and a son in-law Darrell Hacker, as well as 8 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Preceded by his parents, wife, 1 brother, 2 sisters, and 2 daughters: Marilyn Hacker and Linda McDonald. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015 at 11:00 am at Voss Chapel with Reverend Kit Bogan and Reverend Bill Everhart officiating. Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and on Monday 10:00 am until the time of service.
