Robert "Bob" Stephenson

Robert "Bob" Stephenson, 60, of Keokuk, passed away on February 7th, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Bob was born on February 15th, 1954, to Charles Raymond and Ruth Darlene Hamburger Stephenson in Keokuk. He was united in marriage to Lorrie Boxwell on June 28, 1996, in Keokuk. She survives. Bob, also known as Tiny, was a life-long resident of Keokuk and a member of United Rubber Works Local 444. Some of his passions included cooking, bowling, NASCAR, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved the company of his dogs, especially his dog Mickey. Bob was employed at BTR, and proudly served his nation in the Navy. Bob is survived by his wife Lorrie of Keokuk; his two sons Aron and Tyler; his stepdaughter Emily Wade; his three brothers: Michael James (Faye) Stephenson of Memphis, Missouri; Joseph Leroy (Tina) Stephenson of Kahoka, Missouri; and David Allan (Sabina) Stephenson of St. Louis; and his sister Julia Ann (Stephen) McLeod of Keokuk. Other survivors include multiple nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Bob is preceded in death by his grandmother, his parents, and his sister Ellen Marie.
