Muncie- Diann Faye (Pennington) Moncrief, 56, passed away Sunday February 15, 2015 unexpectedly. She was born on November 12, 1958 to Tom Pennington and Juanita Pennington Smith in Muncie, Indiana. She attended Muncie schools, was a member of Union Chapel Church. Diann loved her family, Angels, and was an avid animal and bird lover. She enjoyed, cooking, swimming, shopping and dressing to the nines with her signature color being pink. Survivors include: daughter Dawn Ray of Muncie; granddaughter Leila Ray of Muncie; mother Juanita Smith of Muncie; sister Vickie Nelsen of New York; nieces, Alta Clary (John), Helen Nelsen-Cheyne (Colin) all of New York; nephews, Josh Mardis, Daryl Nelsen (Cathy), Erik Nelsen (Jacqueline) all of New York, Aunts, Clarice, Frances, Ruth all of Tennessee; Uncle, Charles of Indiana; great nieces, Victoria, Mia, Lily, Scarlett, all of New York; great nephews, Cooper, Harrison, Levi, Elliot, all of New York, and special friend W.C. Moncrief of Indianapolis. She is preceded in death by her father Tom Pennington; grandparents Arnold and Alta Agnes Smith, Nard and Effie Pennington.
