Edith Wilson

Edith Wilson, age 90, of Springboro, Ohio, died Thursday February 19, 2015 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on October 12, 1924 to Oscar and Candus (Johnson) McIntosh. She was an avid quilter, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Springboro, Springboro Garden Club, Springboro Clearcreakers, and the Advisory Council of 741 Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar McIntosh, mother, Candus McIntosh, husband, Fred Wilson; brothers Barney, Keith, Oscar Jr., and Kash McIntosh; sisters Mae (Brad) Bradley, Hazel (Bob) Stewart, Mildred (Finley) Gibson, and Blanche (Paul) Blankenship. Edith is survived by her son, Fred Michael (Cheryl) Wilson; two brothers, Blake and Bob (Mary Ann) McIntosh; grandson, Michael Joshua Wilson; two great granddaughters, and friends, Shirley (Ralph) Tinch, Laura E. Bishop, and Ollie (Dan) Coates. Funeral services are 1pm Thursday February 26, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH with Dr. Suzanne Allen officiating.
