Connie Johnson, 55, of Bancroft, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. Her family will greet friends on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at the Open Bible Church, Swea City, IA. Connie Jo Johnson was born on June 6, 1959, in Iowa City, the daughter of Ben H. and Norma Jean (Sankey) Johnson. Connie loved spending time with her family an friends. She will be missed greatly by all. She is survived by her mother Norma Johnson of Bancroft; her brothers, Ben and his friend Jody of Algona, Charles and his wife Sharon of Oregon, Douglas and his wife Terry of Virginia, and Scott and his wife Michelle of Utah; her sisters, Laurie of Bancroft and Sandra and her husband Victor of Swea City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Ben; sister Ardis, an her grandparents.[more]
