d and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Corpus Christi High School in 1936. In 1940, Catherine graduated from Clark College. Kay worked at the Fort Dodge Welfare Office for a few years before she entered the USO and served in Alabama. After the war, she returned to Fort Dodge and continued to work for the Welfare Office. On August 4, 1947, Catherine was united in marriage to Carl Condon at Corpus Christi Church. The couple established their home on a farm in Clare. While raising her family, she also worked for the Women's Reformatory and at various nursing homes as a social worker until retiring in 1978. In 1990, Kay and Carl moved off the family farm "Irish Acres" and into Fort Dodge. She was a member of card club for many, many years, Holy Trinity Parish and a lifetime member of Catholic Daughters of America. Memorials may be left to the St. Edmond Catholic School System.
