Maxine June Duncan AINSWORTH, Iowa--Maxine June Duncan, 82, of Ainsworth, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on April 4, 2015, at the American Legion building located at the North end of Main St., Columbus Junction. Lay Pastor Don Clark will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. on April 4, 2015, at the American Legion. Memorials may be directed to Washington County Hospice, United Presbyterian church of Columbus Junction or the Ainsworth Community church. Maxine was born on June 30, 1932, in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Lewis and Olive Conklin Coss. Maxine graduated from Wilton High school. She later married Robert J. Duncan on April 18, 1959, in Davenport. She was member of the United Presbyterian Church in Columbus Junction and The County Line club. She enjoyed swimming with the Y -Group, walking and loved dancing as well as visiting with friends.
