Bill Watts, renowned golf course architect and former baseball chaplain to the Marlins, Red Sox, and Yankees, went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior, on April 16, 2015. Born May 13, 1931 in Coral Gables, he played golf for the University of Miami and was the original designer of Sunrise, Lago Mar, Miami Lakes Country Clubs and many others. Preceded in death by his wife Allan and daughter Sally, he leaves behind his wife Elaine, children Liz, Trey and Jill, and stepchildren Michael, Cindee, Cheree, and Leif. He is also remembered by his brother Fred, sister Joan, and a family which includes 20 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who rejoices at his promotion to glory. A Memorial Service celebrating his victorious finish will be held at Calvary Chapel (South Banquet Hall), 2401 W. Cypress Creek Rd., Fort Lauderdale, FL. 33309 on Saturday, April 25th at 3 pm.
