Justin Brandl

Justin Brandl, age 33, of Lake Park, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was born on November 11, 1981, in Sibley, Iowa, to Donald and Susan (Lacek) Brandl. Justin graduated from Harris-Lake Park High School in 2000. He enjoyed spending valuable time with his niece, Marissa and second cousins, Britt, Emma and Kaycee. Justin also enjoyed music, especially Johnny Cash and Ozzy, reading books, playing cards and games with his grandparents, watching Jeopardy and General Hospital with his mom and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings. Justin is survived by his parents, Donald and Susan Brandl of Lake Park; his brother, Grant Brandl, and his wife, Christine of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandparents, Walter and Josephine Lacek of Canby, Minnesota; niece, Marissa Brandl of Virginia Beach, Virginia; step-niece and step-nephew, Maddie Rodriguez and Jessie Nunez; good buddies, Earnie Harden and Chuck Fales; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. . Saturday, May 9, 2015, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Friday, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., with a Vigil for the Deceased at 7:00 P.M. at the Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Justin's name. The Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
