"Beloved Son and Never Alone"
On August 15, 1994 Tangela Amos and Keith Huggins were blessed with their baby boy Joshua Henry Huggins. Joshua attended and was baptized in 2008 at the Historic Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Miami's Overtown community. Joshua's formal education began at Beacon Hill School and culminated at Mast Academy High School. After Graduating from Mast Academy in 2012, he then matriculated at The University of Miami (The U), where he was a sophomore studying to become an engineer.
Joshua was a very kind, brutally honest, loving and patient young man. Joshua loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them on all occasions. He loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed kayaking ad camping with his mother.
On Thursday, May 7, 2015 God reached down and plucked a beautiful flower to add to his heavenly Garden. Joshua leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his Mother, Tangela Amos, father and step mother Keith and Doris Huggins, his grandparents Katie and Henry Amos, an uncle Roland (Tammi) Amos, his cousin Latoya Amos, several great aunts and uncles, his best friend Matthew Whitehorn, and a host of loving cousins family and friends.
