Anna Christina Schultz was born August 28, 1933, in West Bend, Iowa, the daughter of John and Esther (Anderson) Abbas. She grew up and attended school in West Bend, graduating from the West Bend High School in 1952.
On December 11, 1952, Annie was united in marriage to Norman Schultz in Whittemore, Iowa. After their marriage they lived and worked in Whittemore. Annie worked as a cook at The Pub for many years. Norman died August 29, 1989, and Annie remained in Whittemore until becoming a resident at the Good Samaritan Society - Algona in 1999.
Annie enjoyed cooking, playing cards and playing dominoes. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a member of the church choir for 33 years.
Annie died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at the Good Samaritan Society - Algona. She was 81.
She is survived by her daughters, Deb and her husband Harry Bormann of Cylinder; Sharon and her husband Art Mueller of Cylinder; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty and her husband Roger Rongved of Bode. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Schultz; three brothers and their wives, Marvin (Alice) Abbas; Edward (Peggy) Abbas; Russell (Velma) Abbas and a sister-in-law, Shirley Schultz.
