Steven L. Champeau

Steven Champeau, of the Town of Saukville, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Aurora Hospital in Grafton. He was 43 years old. Steven was born in Milwaukee on May 10, 1972, son of Dan Champeau and Carol McKibbon Champeau. He grew up in the Town of Cedarburg and attended school in Cedarburg, graduating from Cedarburg High School in 1990. Steve worked as a machinist for Oetlinger Precision Tool Engineering in Grafton. He enjoyed snowmobiling and cutting firewood. Steven is survived by his mom Carol Champeau of the Town of Cedarburg, his father Dan Champeau of Fredonia and his two young sons Jacob and Mason. He is further survived by his brother James (Tamara) Champeau of Saukville, his aunts and uncles Linda (Bernie) Jessen of Fredonia, Rozanne (Frank) Smith and John Champeau both of Houston, TX, nieces and nephews: Cassandra, Jessica, James Jr., Timothy, Samantha Jo and Sandy, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister Jennifer Champeau. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 7 PM at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 W. Grand Ave., Port Washington.
