Muncie-Barney M. Willard III, age 57 died Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Barney was born July 17, 1957 to Barney M. and Patricia Willard II in Muncie. Barney was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed playing guitar, going bass fishing and loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching his Green Bay Packers. Barney was employed at Muncie Community Schools. He was preceded in death by his parents, and nephew Jesse James Smith. Barney is survived by his wife Tamara who he married August 5, 1978; his son, Barney M. (wife Sandy) Willard IV; daughter Vanessa Willard; grandchildren Denise R. Trosper AKA BooBear, Isabel M., Joslin S., Jessi P., Michael, Glen, and Katie; Brothers Charles (wife Kathy), David (wife Whitney) Willard; sister Wanda Delaney, Nephew Joshua. Funeral services will be Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, Visitation will be Monday at 11:00 am till the time of the service. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
