Robert W. Probst
Madison - Robert W. Probst, age 90, of Madison passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2015. Bob was born on January 13, 1925, in Monroe Wi., to Fred R. and Mabel Olson Probst. On August 22, 1948 he married Eleanor 'Lynn' Liebe, who passed away in 2008. He was employed with the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture for 36 years, where he last served as Director of Weights and Measures. He is survived by his three sons, William Probst of Appleton, Paul (Kathy) Probst of Montgomery, AL., and David Probst of Yuba City, CA; four grandchildren, Heather Probst of Atlanta, GA., Robert G. (Erin) Probst of Madison, Debra Probst of Madison, and Michael (Leah) Probst of Milwaukee; and one great-grandchild, Evelyn Probst. Bob is also survived by his sister, Ila Duerst of Monroe.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5701 Raymond Road, Madison. Friends may visit at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to benefit the Alzheimer's Association of America.
