that Stamos' were looking for an employee at their furniture store in Tipton. In 1963, Max began working for the Tipton's Stamos Furniture, laying floor covering and making deliveries. Max & Judy purchased the store in 1978. The entire Keller family has always been involved in the store. Max memberships and club involvement include the First United Methodist Church of Tipton, the Tipton Country Club, Rotary Club, Cedar County Work Activity President, Men's Golf Association, Tipton Chamber of Commerce, & TEDCO. He started Ducks Unlimited in the community and was in charge of the Tipton Sesquicentennial in 1990. Max was an integral member of the Tipton community; his joyful spirit will impact hearts and mind for years to come. Max is survived by his wife, Judy of Tipton; daughter, Connie (Mike) Smith of Tipton; sons, Jerry (Jean) Keller of Waverly, and Chris (Angie) Keller of Tipton; sisters, Nadine Haddy of Cedar Rapids, and Dixie Smith of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, Dean Keller of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Ryan, Angie, Chad, Todd, Ben, Joel, Curtis, Kelly, Clay, and Aron; and 13 great-grandchildren. Max was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Mark; brother, Robert Keller; and sister, Marilyn Shull.
