April M. Montgomery, 34, of Otho, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015. Funeral services will be Friday, July 31st 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. April is survived by her husband, Justin; daughter, Madelyn Montgomery of Otho; step-son, Jamie (Alyssa Ballou) Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; mother, Michael LuAnn (Ken Henrichs) Bacon of Otho; father, Tim (Lisa) Bacon of Fort Dodge; sister, Heather (Mark) Farrell and their son, Karson; grandparents, Ed & Georgia Bacon all of Fort Dodge; mother-in-law, Nancy (Dean) Brown of Fort Dodge; father-in-law, Mike (Carla) Montgomery of Otho; brother-in-law, Jon (Michelle) Montgomery; sister-in-law, Jenny (Matt) Sweeney; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her niece, Kayla Jones; grandparents, Bob & Betty Fuller; and grandparents-in-law, Aaron & Wynona Montgomery, and her good friend, Clint Pringle. ed with Fort Dodge Labs (B.I.V.I.) as a lab tech. On September 20, 2008 April was united in marriage to Justin Montgomery at St. Paul Lutheran Church and the couple made their home in Otho. Family was April's life. Besides being a wonderful mother to Madelyn and wife to Justin, her next love was Jersey, her four legged fur baby. April loved to go camping with family and friends. She was extremely proud of her '63 Nova (Lola) that she and her husband restored. April would do anything to help someone in need. Her beautiful smile and kind heart will be extremely missed. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
