Patricia F. "Pat" Hartley

Patricia F. "Pat" Hartley, 79, of Brooklyn, Iowa, and formerly of Delmar, Iowa, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2015, at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center in Grinnell, Iowa. A celebration of Pat's life will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday , August 8, 2015 at the Delmar United Methodist Church in Delmar, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, August 7, 2015, from the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, rural Maquoketa, Iowa. Patricia Fern Morrison was born on March 3, 1936 in Brooklyn, Iowa, to Melvin Edward and Opal Fern (Provin) Morrison. She was a high school graduate. She married Robert R. Hartley on June 8,1958 in Brooklyn, Iowa. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2012. Pat had owned and operated the Calico Fabric Cabin in Maquoketa for several years, and then worked as a florist in Nashua, IA for several years, and later as a teller for the Maquoketa State Bank in Maquoketa until her retirement. Pat enjoyed sewing, quilting, cards and travelling. She was a Chicago Cubs fan, and a Iowa Hawkeye fan also. Pat loved making things out of fabric for people.
