Robert Lynn Harbaugh

Robert L. Harbaugh, 72, of Muscatine, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015 in Cedar Rapids from a long term health condition. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 - 6 pm in the Sunrise Shelter in Weed Park, Muscatine, Iowa on Sunday, August 9th. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund in Robert's memory has been established. Robert was born on July 1, 1943 in Muscatine County and was the son of Robert Knight and Bertha McMahon Harbaugh. Robert graduated from Muscatine High School and received his BSA in Agriculture from Iowa State University. Robert served his country in the Vietnam War as a Medic with the 101st Airborne Infantry. He worked as a farmer and as a factory worker for Allsteel in Muscatine. Robert and Rita Sue Petersen were united in marriage on April 1, 1981 in Pine, Colorado. Robert is survived by his special friend for nearly 50 years, Rita Harbaugh, Sons; Ryan, Patrick and Robert all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his granddaughter, Lunlana I.
