Cecil C. Strong

STRONG, Cecil C. age 84 of Hamilton passed away Friday August 17, 2012 at Mercy Franciscan at Schroder. He was born January 31, 1928 in Green Hall, Kentucky the son of the late Robert and Anne (Bowles) Strong. On December 20, 1958 in Hamilton he married Susan E. (White) Strong and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2012. Mr. Strong was a veteran of the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a retiree of Champion International Paper Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, bird dogs, and Reds baseball. He is survived by two sons David (Linda) Strong of Middletown and Keith (Donna) Strong of Hamilton; two daughters Darla (Steve) Sabo of Fairfield Township and Angela (Keith) Barnett of Trenton six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and sister in law Cliffie Strong of Kentucky. Mr. Strong is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. [more]
