He was born in West Chester on May 31, 1935 to Jesse and Ethel (Gundler) Brown. On August 7, 1953 he married his "lovely bride" Mildred Brock and they were happily married for 43 years. Charles was employed as an electrician at Wente Construction and Miami University, and was a lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and was a member of Timberhill Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Murphy) Cheek, and Julie (Tom Gish) Roberts; 6 grandchildren, Ronnie (Laura) Cheek, Amy (Jason) Howard, Stephanie (Brandon Harvey) Roberts, Stacy (Scott) Caron, Tim (Carey Smith) Cheek, Jesse (Trisha "Star") Roberts; 8 great-grandchildren, Caitlyn and Christian Cheek, Hailie and Jonathan Ho...[more]
