mogene on the farm. Ruby was a lifetime member of American Legion, she served in the Womens Army Air Corp at Topeka, Kansas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxilary and the St. Patrick's Altar Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church Ladies Guild. She had attended Capital School of Beauty in Omaha, Nebraska. Preceding her in death was her sons, brothers and sisters and two grandchildren step daughter Janet Whitehill. Survivors include her grandchildren, Nancy Richards of Flint Michigan, Julie Collier of Flint Michigan, Pam Addleman of Table Rock, Nebraska, Ruby Parks of Arizona, Clay Parks of Johnson, Kansas, Rodney Trimmer of Nebraska, City, Nebraska, Jean Trimmer of Pawnee City, Nebraska, Kenny Johnson of Colorado, Chad Williams of Crete, Nebraska, Frankie Parks; step grandchildren, Lloyd Kirkland of Johnson, Kansas, Bobby Kirkland of Colorado, Ray Kirkland of Colorado, Anita Steddam, Colorado; great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, step daughter Barb Hilger of Farragut, Iowa and two step sons Jim Smith of Charlotte, NC., Steve Smith of Shelby, NC., and their families; other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the St. Mary's Catholic Church Guild or the St. Patrick's Catholic Church Altar Society.
