Donna Joan Barr

Donna Joan Rice Barr, 48, of Danville, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at her home. Ms. Barr was born September 27, 1967 in Burlington, the daughter of Ronald and Janey Gosney Rice of Danville. She married Mickey Barr and they later divorced. She was a graduate of Danville High School and worked as a waitress in restaurants in the area for most of her life. Survivors include her parents of Danville; one son, Jessie Barr of Keokuk; one granddaughter; two brothers, David Rice of Agency and DeWayne Rice of Danville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two uncles and one aunt. Memorial services for Ms. Barr will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Elliott Chapel, New London. Carrie Duncan will officiate. According to her wishes, Ms. Barr has been cremated and inurnment will be at a later date. A memorial has been established. [more]
