ped Type I diabetes at age 11. Every day she wanted to live a "normal" life and she struggled with this daily. She developed many complications and getting through most days without pain was a challenge, but always went on with an infectious smile. Jill died Saturday evening, October 10, 2015, at the age of 30. She is survived by Anthony and Jameson of Whittemore; her parents, Jamie and Kent Elbert of Whittemore and Pat Johnson of Titonka; two sisters, Heather Kelly and her husband Josh of Waterloo and their children, Owen and Mazie, and Sydney Elbert of Whittemore; her maternal grandparents, James and Marlene Vaske of Bancroft, and her paternal grandparents, Joan and Gary Smidt of Titonka. She is also survived by her parents-in-law, Jeff and Beth Fehr of Whittemore; two brothers-in-law, Chris Fehr and his wife Becca of Minneapolis, MN and their children Cullan, Sylvia, and Greta, and Dustin Fehr of Whittemore and his children Tristan and Emalin; her grandfather, Art Elbert of Whittemore; her grandparents-in-law, Larry and Carol Fehr of West Bend and Joyce and Art Hix of Fenton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Johnson and Roger Anderson, and grandmother Clarice Elbert.
