Lois Jane (Law) Rhodes

Lois Jane (Law) Rhodes, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, age 79, of Tea, South Dakota, formerly Fort Dodge & Duncombe, passed away at Good Samaritan's Luther Manor in Sioux Falls, SD on October 17, 2015. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Washington Township Cemetery, Duncombe. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at the funeral home. Lois was born on a farm in Calhoun, Iowa on October 16, 1936. She graduated from Duncombe High School. Lois married Daniel Rhodes on March 10, 1957. In addition to raising 4 children, Lois worked the family farm, worked for First Interstate Bank in Duncombe & Fort Dodge, and assisted in the family business Condon Insurance. Lois enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, cooking, and playing cards.
