Scott Henry Houser

Scott Houser, 44, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away at his home on October 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Emmaus Bible Church (4501 S. 23rd St. Omaha, NE 68107). Burial will be in the Wheeler Grove Cemetery east of Macedonia. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson. In lieu of flowers, memorials are directed to the Macedonia Fire and Rescue Scott Henry Houser, one of three sons of Darrell Henry and Marsha Kay (Stuhr) Houser, was born on August 16, 1971 in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated from Carson-Macedonia High School in 1989. Scott graduated from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He worked at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha as a sous chef. Scott enjoyed cycling and joined riders in RAGBRAI. He was a passionate advocate of "Donate Life" and encouraged many to register to be donors, so other lives may be saved.
