rom 1961-1963. Doug became a partner with Sweeney Realty from September 1963 until August 1971, when First Realty Group was formed. Doug continued his career with First Realty Group as an owner-broker until the merger with Weber Realty to form First Weber Group. He retired from First Weber Group in 2000. Doug was a member of Nakoma Golf Club since 1964, serving as President of Nakoma in 1983. He was a Director of the Western Golf Association from 1988-2010; and was a Director of Wisconsin State Golf Association from 1986 through present. Doug is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy Tidwell-Rasmussen, and Nancy L. Rasmussen, mother of his two children; son Thomas D. Rasmussen and daughter, Lori A. Stricker; also children Robert D. (Patricia) Tidwell, and Danelle E. Tidwell; nine grandchildren, Keslie Stricker, Kristin Stricker, Taryn Stricker, Kendra (Ben) Wasby, Nicole Rasmussen, Morgan Tidwell, Derek Tidwell, Alisha Beeman and Aaron Beeman; two great-grandchildren, Isla and Gracie Wasby; and brother Robert J. (Honeygirl) Rasmussen. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, with a Special Time of Remembrance at 3:30 p.m. at the Cress Center Funeral Home at 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI.
