LaVonne "Bonnie" F. Caldwell, 86, of Fort Dodge, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Marian Home. A visitation to honor Bonnie's life will be held on Saturday December 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:45 p.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will be a later date at North Lawn Cemetery. Bonnie is survived by her children, Ann (Ron) Schmidt of Fort Myers, FL; Lana (Dave) Chase of Florence, CO; Karla (Steve) Wetzel of Fort Dodge; Donnette (Steve) Sather of Spooner, WI; Ginger (Jeff) Kondrath of Twin Lakes; Steve (Jody) Caldwell of Colorado Springs, CO; Denny (Jamie) Caldwell of Jesup; Dave (Joyce) Caldwell of Fort Dodge; Greg (Kathy) Bishop of Twin Lakes; and 80 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy in 2006; parents, Edward and Marie (Wenzel) Hamann; sisters, Gertrude Wiese and Ruby Hanson; and brother, Edward Hamann, Jr. LaVonne "Bonnie" Hamann was born September 24, 1929 in Manilla, IA. The couple established their home in Carroll until moving to Fort Dodge in 1952. They owned and operated Caldwell and Sons Trucking for a number of years as well as various restaurants and bars until their retirement. Bonnie was a past member of Holy Rosary Church. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
