Rebecca Rae Dunbar

   Rebecca R. Dunbar, 54, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with her family at her side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 30th at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Carmody, New Covenant Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Gowrie. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her husband, Larry; daughter, Sarah Cain and her husband Paul and their daughters, Ava and Jenna of Fort Dodge; son, Nick Dunbar and his wife Rachel and their daughter, Lily Rae of Dayton; brothers, Rob Jennings and his wife Sue of Ames; Bob Jennings of Sac City; and her sister, Rennie Johnson and her husband Lowell of Gilmore City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Janice (Hansen) Jennings. Becky Rae Jennings was born on March 8, 1961 in Fort Dodge. Besides being a homemaker and wife, Becky held various jobs including, secretary at Iowa Central Industries and Children and Families of Iowa; where she later became the administrative assistant. Family was the most important thing in her life. Ava, Jenna, and Lily Rae were her heart, soul and life. Becky enjoyed reading, taking trips to, Florida and Las Vegas and playing slots at the casinos. Her sense of humor was shared with all who knew her. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
