colded as a young girl for always having her nose in a book. She shared that love of books and reading with Hebron by spearheading efforts to build a public library, which today occupies the space that was once Dr. Skwarok's clinic. Alice leaves behind four children; Karin Klose, Jamestown, ND; Larry Skwarok, Dickinson, ND; Stephen (Kelly) Skwarok (Debbie), Bismarck, ND; and Michael Skwarok, Madison, WI; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a brother, Leonard Hart (Ada), Dover, England; niece Beverly (Allan) McNeil and nephews Phillip (Jenny) Hart, Paul Hart, and Christopher (Angela) Hart; and numerous other relatives in England and Canada. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and son Anthony. No service is planned. Remembrances may be made to the Hebron Public Library or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Special thanks to staff and friends at Heritage Monona for taking exceptional care of Alice while she was a resident in the senior apartment, assisted living, and memory care facilities. Also to the nurses, staff, and volunteers with Agrace Hospice and Palliative Care of Madison who treated her with the utmost respect and kindness in her final days.
