Walter Frank Doviak

Walter F. Doviak, age 88, of the Holiday City West section of Berkeley Township died peacefully at home on December 22, 2015 surrounded by his family. Born in New York City, he also lived in the Bronx, California and Saddle Brook before settling in Holiday City in 1992. Mr. Doviak was US Coast Guard Veteran of World War II. He was a printing machine serviceman for many years, most recently at Addressograph Multigraph Inc., Teterboro, prior to his retirement in 1987. He was a Friend of Bill W. since 1961. He was a member of the Art Association, and the Barn Art Club of Ridgewood. Mr. Doviak taught art at Felician College, Lodi, and at home for many years. His sister, Caroline Pafumi, died in 2014. He is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter, Kim Van Hassel and her husband Doug of Ringwood; his nephew, Walter Kerr and his wife Janice, and their children Walter, Jennifer, Harry and Brian; his Niece, Fran and her husband Tony, and their children Cara and Rachel; his nephew Neil and his wife Sandy; and his extended family, Audrey and Jimmy Aguilar.
