Anna Marie "Mary" Caruso

Anna Marie "Mary" Caruso, Age 93 formerly of Mt. Pleasant Ave in Ambler , died Tuesday December 29, 2015 in the Birches At Arbour Square in Harleysville where she had been a recent resident. Born in Conshohocken, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adamo and Nicolette (nee DeCurtis) Pagliaro. Mrs. Caruso was preceded in death by her husband Michael Victor Caruso in 1977, and her Brothers Adam, Carmen, and Anthony Pagliaro . She was a Graduate of Conshohocken High School Class of 1941. She worked for Wissahickon School District as a Cafeteria Server at Wissahickon High School for 23 years prior to her retirement in 1991. Mary was an avid reader who enjoyed to cook, bake and crochet. She also enjoyed her bus trips and her trips to the casino where her game was nickel slots. She liked to watch cowboy movies and play cards and spinners. She was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Church in Ambler. Mrs. Caruso is the devoted mother of Josephine C. Manieri and her husband Elmo of Souderton, Jeanne C. Harmony and her husband Paul of North Wales, and Victoria C. Carey and her husband Tom of New Hope, PA.
