In December 2014 she moved to Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. Survivors include daughters Rebecca (Dick) Keidel of Wayne, NE and Julianne Atkinson of Minneapolis, MN and son John (Joy) Lyman of Hampton, IA; grandson Jeffrey Keidel of Lincoln, NE; granddaughters Bethany (Rick) Smart of North Yarmouth, ME Carolyn (Adam Popp) Atkinson of Minneapolis, MN Tracy Atkinson of Colorado Springs, CO Alexis Sheppard (Brandon Grefe) and Lindsay (Lance) Uhlenhopp of Hampton, IA; five great-granddaughters, Ksenia and Annika Smart, Elle and Aja Sheppard, Mila Grefe; and three great-grandsons, Madden and Griffin Uhlenhopp and Murphy Popp; brother O.D. Smith of Olathe, Kansas; longtime friend and aunt by marriage, Doris Weddel; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Stoddard Lyman and John Meints, and her sister Janice Robbins. Memorials may be made to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief).
