Gerald F. Moore

MADISON - Gerald Frederick Moore unexpectedly joined his family in heaven on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. Gerald was born on March 2, 1939, to Dorothea and Samuel Moore. He was the youngest of Dorothea's six children. Gerald graduated from East High School in 1957. He was an Airman Third Class in the U.S. Air Force from 1958 - 1962. Gerald worked for the University of Wisconsin as a custodian for 24 years, retiring in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Paul Vinmans, Johanna (Vernon) Offerdahl, Alan and Carl (Beverly) Medrow, and Barbara (Earl) Denure. He is survived by nieces and nephews. Per Gerald's wishes there will not be a funeral. A graveside service will be held at FOREST HILL CEMETERY on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, at 11 a.m. "You are not alone anymore; let the Euchre games begin."[more]
