Mary Michelle Brownlee

Mary Michelle Brownlee, 43, of Keokuk, passed away at 7:45 AM on January 15, 2016, at her home in Keokuk. Michelle was born in Keokuk on March 29, 1972, the daughter of Mike Privia and Mary Corr Koechle. She worked as a manager at McDonalds for many years and was a member Evangelical Free Church of Keokuk. Michelle was well known for her crochet work, and she worked with children as a teacher at Awana. Michelle is survived by her mother Mary Koechle of Keokuk; her father Mike Privia of Kahoka, Missouri; her son Cheyenne Butcher of Keokuk; and her sister Becky (Tim) Kelly of Keokuk. Other survivors include a half-brother, a half-sister, a step-sister, her niece Kara Kavanagh and her nephew Braeden Kavanagh. Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents. A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Evangelical Free Church of Keokuk, with Pastor Jack Klose officiating.
