Mary Michelle Brownlee, 43, of Keokuk, passed away at 7:45 AM on January 15, 2016, at her home in Keokuk.
Michelle was born in Keokuk on March 29, 1972, the daughter of Mike Privia and Mary Corr Koechle. She worked as a manager at McDonalds for many years and was a member Evangelical Free Church of Keokuk. Michelle was well known for her crochet work, and she worked with children as a teacher at Awana.
Michelle is survived by her mother Mary Koechle of Keokuk; her father Mike Privia of Kahoka, Missouri; her son Cheyenne Butcher of Keokuk; and her sister Becky (Tim) Kelly of Keokuk. Other survivors include a half-brother, a half-sister, a step-sister, her niece Kara Kavanagh and her nephew Braeden Kavanagh.
Michelle is preceded in death by her grandparents.
A celebration of her life will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at the Evangelical Free Church of Keokuk, with Pastor Jack Klose officiating. Visitation will be held for two hours before the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Evangelical Free Church of Keokuk.
