Clifford C. Miller

Clifford C. Miller, age 94, of Green Bay passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, January 18, 2016. He was born on May 22, 1921, in Green Bay to the late Earnest and Marcella (Delebroux) Miller. Cliff graduated from Green Bay East High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. Cliff married Laverne Vannieuwenhoven on July 5, 1943. They celebrated 71 years together before Laverne passed away on June 8, 2015. Cliff worked at Wisconsin Public Service at the Pulliam Power Plant. He was an active member in Local 310 International Union of Operating Engineers where he served as steward, treasurer, and later as president. Cliff enjoyed golfing, playing cards, reading, making beer, traveling, and gardening. Survivors include his children, Barb (John) Gray, Mike (Terry) Miller and Paul (Katie) Miller; grandchildren, Robert Olson, Thomas Olson, Sarah Luciano, and Jacob Miller; and great-grandchildren, Jessica, Shane, Sydney, Laura, and Jackson. held on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 401 Gray Street, Green Bay, from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald Everts officiating. Burial will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Cliff's name. The family would like to thank the staff at Allouez Parkside Village and Heartland Hospice for their loving care.
