William Asher

William D. "Bill" Asher, 70, of Somerville, passed away Tuesday, January 27 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born in Hamilton on June 29, 1945 to Travis and Edna Asher. Bill graduated from Taft High School in 1964 and retired from the Pease Everstrait/Pella Companies of Fairfield. He married Millie Lewis in 1965. Bill is survived by his dear wife, Millie Asher; two children, Michael Asher and Jamie Jimenez; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Brittney, Devin and Thalia; sister, Diana "Cookie" Asher and brother Chuck "Ted" (Lois) Asher. Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Doug "Ben" Asher. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Hamilton for the wonderful care Bill received from them. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton, on Tuesday, February 2 from 11am until 1pm with funeral services commencing at 1pm.
