Age 49, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Milwaukee, WI on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was born under the sunny skies and fresh air of Denver, CO on June 19, 1966. In his early years, Brett travelled across the U.S., living in both Maryland and California before settling in Wisconsin. Brett attended the Brown Deer School System, but graduated from Custer High School, where he was awarded the title "all state" in soccer. He attended Milwaukee Area Technical College and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He spent his professional career working in a family owned business and worked 17 years for the United States Postal Service from which he recently retired.
Brett is survived by his loving family: wife, Kathleen Coleman; daughter, Michelle Grant; parents, Dejustice and Dorothy Coleman; brothers, Dejustice Coleman, Jr., and Kriss Coleman; sister, Jodi (Alex) Coleman-Mendoza; nephew, Taylor Coleman; and many beloved aunts and uncles. He is survived by his much loved dogs; Koko, Teddy and Shadow.
