Nadine Linney

Nadine Linney, 79, of Fort Dodge, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home, Fort Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Wiedemeier officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, George Linney of Fort Dodge; grandson, Pat (Andrea Kara) Larson; granddaughter, Rachel (Nick) Dunbar; great-granddaughter, Lily Dunbar; and brother-in-law, Robert (Connie) Linney of Hedrick, IA. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Laura Shifflett; and daughter, Dena Larson. Nadine Shifflett was born August 20, 1936 in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. She was united in marriage to George Linney on January 20, 1956. Nadine was employed by Bell Telephone as an Administrative Assistant. She was also a day care provider for many years. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. [more]
