Earl R. Patton

Earl R. Patton, 89, Green Bay, died Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was born August 30, 1926 to the late Edward and Josephine (Quinette) Patton in Glenmore, Wisconsin. Earl served his country in the U. S. Navy during World War II in the American Theatre. On February 12, 1955 he married Marguerite Mary Richter at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. Earl was employed for 44 years by Procter & Gamble, retiring in 1990. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed golfing. Earl is survived by his wife, Marguerite; son, Paul Patton, daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Doubek; two grandchildren, Christine Mach and Kevin Mach (special friend, Ashley Styczynski); and four sisters, Rosemary Manning, Dorothy (Cliff) Berg, Florence Servais and Patricia (Jack) Ambrosius; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Patton. Earl was preceded in death by, Edith (Levi) Carter, Catherine (Joseph) Vercauteren, Margaret (Edward) Wallschleager, Daniel (Tillie) Patton, Joseph Patton, James Manning and Antone Servais. will be held at 11:00 am with the Rev. John Harper officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in memory of Earl. Contributions will be given to the N.E.W. Zoo in Suamico.
