Susan Theresa Hansch

Susan T. Hansch, 69, of Fort Dodge, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Gowrie Care Center. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 25th at 10:30 a.m. at Community of Christ Church, Coalville, with Rev. Ron Dunsdon officiating. Burial will be at a later date. A visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Community of Christ Church in Coalville. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family. Susan was survived by her brother, Danny (Kim) Burke of Coalville; several nieces, nephews, and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Carrie (Malinoski) Burke; brother, Norm Hutchinson; sister, Barbara Smith; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hutchinson. Susan Theresa Burke was born on July 23, 1946 in Fort Dodge. She was raised in Coalville, graduating from Fort Dodge Public School in 1964. Susan worked for Globe Union for almost 27 years. For the past 13 years, she worked at Walmart as a cashier. Susan retired in 2007 and enjoyed her home and playing cards with friends.
