William P. Seward

William P. Seward, age 71, of Hatfield PA, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 surrounded by his loving family in Abington Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Herbert and Mildred (nee Cook) Seward. He was an Electronics Engineer, employed by Leeds & Northrup in North Wales for 24 years. In recent years he was employed by Ursinus College. Mr. Seward was a member of Holy Spirit Anglican Church and Colmar Fire Company. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years Dorothy (nee Witkowski) Seward. He is the beloved father of Beth Calpaldi and her husband Stephen of Sellersville; Brian Seward and his wife April of Lansdale; Brad Seward and his wife Heather of Hatfield; and adopted son Brandon Seward. He is also the loving grandfather of six. Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday February 27, 2016, after 10:00 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home,1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. William's Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM and will be officiated by Rev. Robert Tufton from Holy Spirit Anglican Church, Hatfield. Interment will be held at a later date.
