Ronald Floyd Blanchard

Ronald F. Blanchard, 75, of Sacramento, California passed away on February 27, 2016 in Sacramento. A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Whipple Cemetery near Griswold, Iowa. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson is handling arrangements. Ronald Floyd Blanchard was born on September 27, 1940 in Griswold, Iowa, the son of Marion Everett and Verona Lois (Forsyth) Blanchard. He graduated from high school, served in the United States Navy, and lived in Sacramento, California. He worked 41 years for United Airlines as a cargo/baggage handler. Ronald passed away on February 27, 2016 in Sacramento at the age of 75 years and 5 months. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Robert Blanchard. Ronald is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Blanchard of Griswold and, Raymond Blanchard of Carson; and sisters, Ruby West of Houston, TX and Ruth Maniscalco of Council Bluffs, IA. [more]
