Elmer Glen Flory, 85, of Tipton, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 6th, 2016 in Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Funeral services will also be at Fry Funeral Home at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 12th. Elmer was born August 1, 1930, in Kinross, Iowa, to Glen and Esther (Carter) Flory. He graduated from Kinross High School. Elmer was united in marriage to Cuba Maynor in West Virginia in 1956 before making Tipton their home, where they have raised 4 children: Hobert, David, Bruce and Wayne. Elmer worked many years at Petersen Hardware in Tipton before he and his partner, Ron Luikart became owners. After Ron's passing, Elmer purchased the store and continued to service and repair Tipton resident's appliances until his retirement.
