Dick Proctor

Dick Proctor passed away on Sunday, February 28, surrounded by his loving family. Dick was a friendly and kind man who worked hard and loved his family. Dick and his brother Don, owned Dick and Don's DX in the '60's. He was the Service Manager at Sears until retiring and also bartended at Western Lanes. After retiring he drove for Avis, Van Boxtel Ford and Broadway. He also served as a crossing guard for the City of Green Bay. In his leisure time he enjoyed activities with his children including coaching little league baseball, bowling, golf and obedience training dogs at Packerland Kennel Club. He was also a judge for AKC. He loved his time at the cabin with his brothers, his sons and their friends. Dick looked forward to his Tuesday morning coffee with his friends. Dick was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved being part of his children's and grandchildren's lives and would drive hours to be part of special events for both children and grandchildren. wendolyn; their children, Deborah Klenke, Gail (James) Klenke, Michael (LeeAnn) Proctor and Jon (Gina) Proctor; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; three brothers; three sisters; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; step-mother and step-sister. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Rose (Waerzeggers) Proctor; one granddaughter; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth Street from 10:00 am until the Memorial Mass at noon with the Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Entombment will be at the Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. His family wishes to thank St. Vincent Hospital 6th floor ICU and 9th floor nursing staff and Unity Hospice for their care and compassion during Dick's final days.
