Delores E Raith

Delores E. Raith, 90 of Rhinelander, formerly of Summit Lake, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Milestone Senior Living in Rhinelander. Delores was born January 21, 1926 to Oscar and Mollie Claus in Milwaukee. She graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1945. Delores married Leo E. Raith in October 11, 1949. Leo preceded her in death on February 19, 1979. They raised their family at Bass Lake where Delores lived until she moved to Rhinelander in 2006. Delores was an accomplished seamstress, quilter and photographer. She especially enjoyed Shakespeare theatre, swimming, reading, her computer, and her many quilting enthusiasts. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Langlade Hospital for 30 years. Delores traveled extensively during her lifetime taking many trips throughout the United States (including Hawaii), Europe, New Zealand, Russia, Canada and Mexico. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her children Arthur Raith, Russell Raith, Carol Raith and Paula Desotelle; a grandson Tanner Raith and a great grandson Michael Walden; sister Ella Mae Talley, brothers Richard and Leonard Claus, Tom and Jim Heath. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place in Elcho Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.
