When her children grew older she returned to work at Land O'Lakes Felco, retiring in 1987 after 20 years. Mona also worked as a census taker, soap sample deliver, etc. She ended her career at the Sun Market and Deli. Mona loved to be active. She bowled, swam, and enjoyed exercising every day. Mona was an accomplished seamstress and made incredible needlepoints and quilts, which she made for her children and grandchildren. She was an avid reader and loved meals with her family. Family was everything to Mona. Her greatest accomplishment was being an incredibly loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Memorials may be left to the Paula J.
