Norman L. Comstock, 72, of South Sioux City, NE passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Regency Square Care Center in South Sioux City, NE. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE with Chaplain Larry Adler officiating. Visitation with the family present will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Norman was born on October 13, 1943 in Sioux City, IA, the son of Marvin and Helen (Jones) Comstock. He grew up on a farm near Allen and graduated from Allen High School in 1963. Norman married Patricia Rooney in Waterbury, NE on August 24, 1963. The couple moved to South Sioux City, NE. Together they had three children, Lisa, Kevin and Keith. He worked as a machinist his whole life, most recently working at Gateway Engineering in South Sioux City, NE, where he thoroughly enjoyed the company and the people he worked with. He was all about taking care of his family, who meant the world to him. He enjoyed helping with and coaching his children's and grandchildren's sports teams. daughter, Lisa (Brad) Mickey and their daughter, Jessica (Will) McDowell and his great-grandchildren, Liam and Winnie; son, Kevin (Christine) Comstock, and their daughter, Sydney; son, Keith (Sandra) Comstock and their children, Brianna (Brandon) Carda, Alexander, Christian and Michael; brothers, Ron (Harriet) Comstock and Bob (Becky) Comstock; sister-in-law, Sue Comstock; and many nieces and nephews. Norman was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Comstock; his wife, Patricia Comstock in 2014; and a brother, Dan Comstock.
